From the 10th of November to the 24th of December the iconic stalls are returning to Canterbury! The perfect place to find unique and personalised gifts. The Canterbury Christmas market is full of talented vendors selling their creations, from handcrafted art to sweet treats or even a festive tipple, if you didn’t drive! Santa will be arriving at the market on the 1st of December, so be sure to take the little ones after school to spot him!

Quex Park Ice Skating

For the ultimate festive activity, gather your loved ones and head to Quex for a 45 minute time slot of icy bliss. The park is a great place to explore during the Christmas season with the ice rink, farmyard animals and meet-ups with Santa. Make sure to book before your visit, so you’re not disappointed.

The Dover Christmas light-up

Dover will once again be lighting up this Christmas! head to the market on the 2nd of December for the beautiful, handmade lantern procession that will be lining the town. The festive atmosphere of this night is truly unmissable. Starting at 6 pm and making its way to the market square the procession is the perfect demonstration of festivity, community and artistry. Christmas At The Castle 5k

​A local event for all the runners. Dover castle is hosting a 5k run on the 2nd of December. The run will cover the span of the castle and with a minimum age of 11, families with older children can all get stuck in. Don’t forget to bring your head or body torch because the race begins at 6 pm! On your marks, get set, and RUN your way into Christmas!

Walmer Castle Christmas Light Trail

The Walmer Castle Light Trail is live from the 1st of December to the 1st of January! A magical experience for all the family. This enchanting adventure will leave you amazed and the food, cocktails and marshmallow toasting available will be the icing on the festive cake. Booking in advance is highly recommended as this is likely to be the event of the season!
